Open Access FTFL Journal 2025
If you express your intent to publish in the conference journal, you should wait until you receive an email confirming that your abstract has been selected for submission as a paper. This email will confirm the date for returning your full paper to ftflconference@gde.hu. We really appreciate earlier submission as it helps us manage the review process in a timely manner. Please read the following information about the publishing procedure.
Papers must not exceed 5000 words in length (2000 words for work-in-progress papers), including abstract, figures, references, and appendices for a total of 10 pages. Files should not exceed 3MB in size.
References should follow the Harvard referencing style, which means that primary references in the text should be in the format (Smith 2022) and should then be listed at the end of the paper as per the following examples:
Smiths, J. and White, N. (2022) The Future of Education, Prentice Hall, London.
Lodge, Norton and Deil, Neumann. (2003) “Communication Between Cultures”, Journal of Intercultural Education, Spring, Vol 9, No. 4, pp 98–43.
Before submitting your paper, please make sure that it has been carefully read for typographical and grammatical errors.
Papers can be produced in any PC or MAC version of Microsoft Word but must not be sent in PDF format and should not be zipped. The papers should be sent to ftflconference@gde.hu.
After the conference, all papers submitted for publication by the given deadline will be double-blind peer-reviewed by members of the conference committee to ensure an adequate standard. The work should not have been published elsewhere and should not be intended to be published elsewhere during the review period.
Open Access Statement
As the conference publication will be an open-access journal, all content will be freely available without charge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
